Cannot be performed on anyone that is currently having chemotherapy treatments, pregnant, breast feeding, or on blood thinners. No ibuprofen or advil 24 hours prior to procedure. No alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to procedure.

Lip blushing client should not have ever had herpes (cold sores). If you have, you would need to be on an anti-viral medication for 2 weeks prior to the procedure. If you have any sores, or scabs in or on the eyebrow, those have to be completely healed before the procedure can be performed. Botox or fillers are okay as long as they were administered at least 4 weeks prior to the procedure. You cannot have the procedure done if you are on any type of skin care prescribed by a dermatologist like RetinA. You would need to be off the prescribed medication 4 weeks prior to procedure. 

Other contraindications:

•  Diabetes - unless approved by your doctor.

• Drug, alcohol, or other substances - we will not tattoo anyone under the influence.

• Various forms of thyroid - not a candidate because the pigment will not take.

• Cancer/chemotherapy 

• Pregnant or breast feeding

• Blood thinners - unless doctor has given consent.

• HIV or hepatitis - we would like all our clients to be safe.

• Heart problems, hypoglycemia - you would need a doctor's note.

• No acutane on the face - not without a doctor's note.

• Moles - around them is okay

• Birthmarks - the skin won't take the color.

• Skin infections on the face - have them heal up first.
